Abstract

This article analyses the evolution of the thematic content of YouTube videos on Ukrainian migration, using the channel “Ukrainians in Germany” by Mila Artiushenko as a case study. The research demonstrates that the video themes have evolved in sync with the changing needs of Ukrainians: from crisis survival in the early stages of the war to issues of adaptation, employment, and reflection on social status. In such cases, YouTube serves as a distinctive indicator of the stages of migrant integration, capturing the transition from a state of survival to the formation of new models of self-realisation.
