Abstract
The article examines the transformation of the modern children’s library into a library hub as a multifunctional cultural and educational space. It analyses the role of the library hub in shaping children’s reading culture, developing language competence and promoting Ukrainian literature. Particular attention is paid to interactive forms of work that promote the activation of reading activities and the socialisation of children. Using the example of Library No. 115 in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv, the effectiveness of implementing innovative approaches in library practice is demonstrated. The prospects for the further development of library hubs as centres of non-formal education are identified.
